MothOut 30-Day Return Policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you change your mind, all items can be returned within 30 days of delivery.

How to start a return

Please email info@mothout.co.uk before sending anything back so we can provide the correct return instructions and a return reference number. Include:

Your name and order or invoice number
Where you purchased (MothOut.co.uk / Amazon / eBay)
The item(s) you wish to return and the reason
Photos if the item is damaged or faulty

Return eligibility

Change of mind: Items must be unused, unopened, and in resalable condition with all original packaging and inserts.
Incorrect, damaged, or faulty items: Please contact us within 30 days; we’ll put it right.
Non-returnable (unless faulty): Items that have been opened or used and cannot be resold due to hygiene or safety reasons (e.g., opened sprays or opened adhesive/pheromone traps) are non-returnable unless they are faulty. Please contact us for assistance.

Return shipping

Change of mind: You cover return postage. We recommend a tracked service; you’re responsible for the parcel until it reaches us.
Our error / damaged / faulty: We’ll provide a prepaid label or reimburse reasonable return postage—please wait for our instructions.

Refunds & exchanges

Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the return is received and inspected (typically within 5–7 business days).
Exchanges for like-for-like items are possible where stock allows—please ask when you email us.
Original outbound shipping (if any) is non-refundable except where we made an error or the product is faulty.

Packaging your return

Please pack items securely in the original packaging (or equivalent protective packaging) and include your return reference number inside the parcel to avoid delays.
