Don’t panic. With the right tools and a clear plan, getting rid of moths doesn’t have to be stressful or costly. MothOut Moth Killer Spray is a powerful solution designed to help you regain control of your home, fast!

Try to identify which type of moth you’re dealing with. If you’re unsure, simply send us a clear photo for identification and plan of action.

Step 1: Prepare the Infested Area - Preparation is key to effective treatment:

• Empty wardrobes and drawers completely and carefully inspect carpets and all garments for holes, webbing, or small larvae.
• Wash washable items at over 55°C, or freeze delicate garments at –18°C for at least two weeks.
• Vacuum all interior wardrobe surfaces, carpet edges, and under furniture. Immediately dispose of vacuum dust outdoors in a sealed bag.

Step 2: Apply MothOut Moth Killer Spray - Now that the area is clean, apply MothOut Spray (one pull is approximate to 1ml):

• Surface Treatment: Spray 20ml per m² onto carpets, wardrobe interiors, corners, cracks, and gaps. Lightly wet the surface, do not oversaturate.
• Space Treatment: Spray 1–4ml per m³ into the air as a fine mist to target flying moths.
• Let the area dry fully before re-entering (wait at least 24–48 hours before vacuuming to preserve the residual effect).

Step 3: Monitor & Prevent Future Infestations - After treatment:

For immediate action against visible adult moths, shake the bottle well before use. Hold it upright and point the nozzle directly at the moth, whether resting or in flight. Pull the trigger once per insect - each spray releases approximately 1ml of product. This method delivers a fast knockdown effect, ideal for moths caught flying indoors or on exposed surfaces like walls, curtains, or furniture.		To treat the airspace in infested rooms, apply MothOut as a fine mist. Shake well before use and spray into the open air using sweeping motions. You should apply 1ml of spray per cubic metre (m³). Each trigger pull = approx. 1ml, making it easy to calculate: A room sized 4m x 3m x 2.5m = 30m³ requires 30 trigger pulls. Spray slowly while walking through the room, ensuring even coverage. After spraying, close the space for at least 1 hour and avoid re-entry until the mist settles. Do not over-saturate surfaces during space spraying.		For targeted treatment on surfaces where moths may nest or lay eggs, shake the spray bottle well before use. Spray areas such as carpet edges, skirting boards, wardrobe interiors, under furniture, and cracks or crevices. Apply 20ml per square meter (m²), which is about 1 trigger pull per 400cm² (20x20cm) or 20 pulls per square metre. Spray evenly to slightly wet the surface, avoid soaking to runoff. Let treated areas dry completely before walking on or touching, and delay vacuuming for 24–48 hours to maintain residual effect.		To effectively treat mattresses, sofas, armchairs, and other upholstered furniture, begin by removing any removable covers or bedding and washing them at 60°C to eliminate moth eggs or larvae that may be present in the fabric. Once the surfaces are bare, shake the MothOut spray bottle well before use. Spray thoroughly over both sides of the mattress, focusing on seams, buttonholes, tufts, and corners, as well as the headboard and bed frame, especially in cracks and crevices where larvae may hide. For furniture like sofas and chairs, pay special attention to: Seat and back seams, Piping and stitched areas, Undersides of cushions, Gaps between upholstery and frame, Base and hidden areas close to the floor. Allow all treated surfaces to dry completely before reuse, and do not place covers, bedding, or cushions back until drying is complete.
